  
 
China Chemical Industry Yearbook is published under the auspices of the Association of Petroleum and Chemical Industry of China. Both the Chinese and English editions were initially issued in 1984 and have been published on a year basis ever sine. The China Chemical Industry Yearbook 2005 is the 21th Edition.
China Chemical Industry Yearbook is an authentic literature and information-intensive collection recording the present status and development of China chemical industry, and also an important reference book for the world to understand and study China's chemical industry.
The China Chemical Industry Yearbook 2005 Edition is composed of two parts:
1.China Chemical Industry
This part mainly includes general status, major trades, local chemical industry, chemical capital market, research and development of science & technology, import & export tade of chemicals, and so on. Most of the data collected in the edition are figures up to the end of 2003. The data of capital market are figures of 2004.
2.China Chemical Industry Statistics
This part mainly includes technology & economic indexes of major chemical products, output of major chemical products, I & E of chemical products, main chemicals I & E by destination and so on.
The figures cited in various articles may by somewhat different from those in China Chemical Industry Statistics because of different sources and statistical approaches. Should such discrepancies happen, the figures collected in China Chemical Industry Statistics are to be taken as the correct ones.
